A Licensed DofE Skills Programme — Built for 2026
Education Direct Worldwide is a licensed Duke of Edinburgh's Award Approved Activity Provider (AAP) in the United Kingdom, operating under\u00a0licensed scope "Life Skills, Science and Technology." That means our Skills Development Programme can be used to complete the Skills section of your DofE Bronze, Silver or Gold Award online — wherever you are in the UK.
If you've ever struggled to find a Skills activity that's structured, evidenced, and actually useful for your career, this is built for you.

What Is the Skills Development Programme?
It's a week-by-week guided journey that pairs modern, employer-relevant content — AI literacy, creativity, digital problem-solving, leadership — with a real venture project you design, prototype and evidence yourself.
Every week follows the same simple loop:
- Learn — a focused module on one skill area
- Apply — practical tasks and weekly logbook entries
- Reflect — guided reflection using our Venture Builder
- Evidence — uploads, supervisor reviews and a growing portfolio
By the end you have a completion certificate, a shareable evidence portfolio, and — for DofE participants — everything your Award Leader needs to sign off your Skills section.

- Weeks 19–26: Extend, improve and evidence with supervisor portfolio reviews
- Everything in Bronze, plus Career Roadmap integration, shareable portfolio links and PDF exports
- Progression route: if you completed Bronze with us, your Silver journey reopens your existing project at Week 14 and runs to Week 26
Gold — £599 · 12 months direct entry (or £329 · 6 months from Silver)
Aligned with the DofE Gold Skills section, where major activities typically run for a year.
- Weeks 1–4: Foundations, advanced AI and leadership groundwork
- Week 5: Project unlocks
- Weeks 6–20: Structured curriculum — research, prototype, prototype review, leadership modules
- Weeks 21–52: Continued project development, community impact, mentoring and evidence — meeting the 12-month commitment Gold expects
- Everything in Silver, plus leadership modules and priority supervisor support
Why Gold runs to 52 weeks. Structured lessons end at Week 20. From Week 21 onward you keep developing your project, growing its impact and recording evidence — exactly what DofE Gold Skills requires.

What Makes This Different from a YouTube Course
Most "online skills" pathways fail DofE participants for the same reasons:
- No structured weekly commitment to evidence
- No supervisor or assessor relationship
- No portfolio a Leader can actually verify
- No connection to modern, employer-relevant skills
The Skills Development Programme fixes all four. You get a pacing system, a real supervisor, a verifiable evidence trail, and a curriculum built around the skills the 2026 labour market actually rewards — AI literacy, creativity, digital problem-solving and leadership.
